+1 Drain Water Per Click Fish Guide
Drain the pool, bag the keepers, sell the rest — mutations and weather decide the price.
Fish show up after you drain a pool in +1 Drain Water Per Click. That is the whole spawn rule. You do not fish with a rod; you click water until the pool gives up, then you bag what appears. Wrestling Elephant Studio’s free-to-play Roblox clicker went live on 25 July 2026 on six-player servers. This guide is about the fork that follows every catch: sell for Cash or display in an aquarium for income per minute.
Rarity and mutation both sit on that price. Confirmed mutations are Gold 2×, Diamond 5×, Venom 10×, and Hole 20×. Weather can tilt the rare ones. Backpack space decides how many of those decisions you get to make before you walk to the shop. None of this replaces pumps. Fish exist to fund pumps, eggs, rebirths, and the occasional aura.
Sell versus aquarium
Sell when Cash on the tick would buy something that trains Water: the current best purchasable pump, a Pet Egg for an empty slot, or a rebirth you already planned on the rebirths guide. Display when the fish is a keeper — high rarity, Venom, or Hole — and you are not blocked on a pump.
Gold mutation (2×, naturally common, gold look) almost always sells. Diamond (5×, cyan, also common) can go either way. Venom (10×, neon green) and Hole (20×, dark) are display-first unless the sell price is the exact missing piece of a shop upgrade. A tank full of 2× commons is not an aquarium strategy; it is a cluttered backpack you forgot to empty.
Display stands level +1 at a time and are cheap. Buy a stand level when you actually have keepers, not because the button is green. The Lava Aquarium is a Cthulhu-branded endgame tank sitting next to Gold Cthulhu, Cthulhu Coins, and Tickets. It is a destination, not a reason to skip selling.
Mutations and weather hunting
Ranks in short, labeled as August–September 2026 current-meta opinion on the mutations tier list:
- S Hole — 20×, low natural rate.
- A Venom — 10×, low natural rate.
- B Diamond — 5×, common.
- C Gold — 2×, common.
Poison weather adds about +10% Venom for four minutes. Black Hole weather adds about +10% Hole for four minutes. Those windows are why you keep an eye on the sky instead of AFK walking in circles. Ten percent on a rare roll is still the best timer in the game. Drain during the window. Sort after.
Gold and Diamond do not need weather. They will appear on ordinary drains. Do not burn a Black Hole window selling 2× fish.
Backpack trips
Backpack space is a +1 quality-of-life upgrade and it is more important for fish than it looks. A drain that drops more fish than you can carry is a tax. You either leave value on the ground or you sprint to sell and miss the next pool. Buy backpack levels when you pass the stand. Walk speed is the sibling upgrade: shorter trips, more drains, more weather windows caught.
A clean trip looks like this:
- Drain.
- Pick up everything you can carry.
- Drop or sell obvious commons if you are overweight before a weather window ends.
- Walk once to the shop and the aquarium, not five times.
- Return to a pool with an empty bag.
If other players on the six-player server are crowding a pool, finish the drain you started. Fish spawn after the drain, not from standing near someone else’s clicks.
Codes and species rumors
The MythicFish code grants a random fish. Community reports mention Mosasaurus or Narwhal. Log those as reports, not as a species encyclopedia. This wiki will not publish a fake full fish list. Whatever you roll, read its rarity and mutation, then run the same sell-versus-display fork. A reported mythic with Gold mutation can still be a sell if a pump is waiting.
Other codes on the codes list are mostly pets (Fixed1 Gold Cthulhu, Fixed2 rare pet, WaterHappy random pet). Redeem them at the hub, then come back to the water. Pets do not spawn fish; they multiply Water while equipped. Details sit on the pets collection guide and the pets tier.
What to ignore while you drain
Auras can wait. They are a minor Water boost and Cash sink at the hub stand. Do not leave a Black Hole window to shop sparkles. Pumps cannot wait if you can afford the next one — open HUD Pumps after you sell, not in the middle of a four-minute weather scramble. Exact pump names stay unlisted; buy the current best purchasable pump over extra low-rarity pets.
New players should still read the beginner walkthrough so they understand the click loop before they chase Hole. The rest of the inventory map is the players hub. Broader ranks, including pumps versus pets, sit on the tier list hub. Extra how-tos live under the guides hub.
A backpack run is a Cash run. Drain, bag the keepers, sell the noise, and be back at the pool before the next weather ping. Mosasaurus screenshots do not pay for the next pump.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
When do fish appear?
After you drain a pool. There is no separate fishing minigame. Click water, empty the pool, then bag what shows up.
Should I sell fish or display them?
Sell commons and most Gold mutations for Cash. Display Hole, most Venom, and high-rarity keepers unless the sell price buys a pump you need right now.
How does weather help?
Poison weather adds about +10% Venom for four minutes. Black Hole weather adds about +10% Hole for four minutes. Drain hard during those windows.
Why upgrade backpack space?
More space means fewer trips between the pool and the shop. It is a cheap +1 upgrade and it saves weather windows you would otherwise spend walking.
What does the MythicFish code give?
A random fish. Community reports mention Mosasaurus or Narwhal. Read the mutation on whatever you receive, then sell or display it like any other catch.
Do fish raise Water per click?
Not directly. They create Cash and aquarium income that buy pumps, eggs, and rebirths. Water training still comes from pumps, equipped pets, and rebirth multipliers.
